Description
Detailed Description This one-of-a-kind 1968 Cessna 172-I (S/N #17257041) blends the timeless reliability of analog gauges with modern digital simplicity to present the ideal aircraft for training, pleasure flying and light cross-country. This impeccable Skyhawk was selected for modifications on the merits of its low engine time (1175 SMOH / 2000 TBO), healthy compression values and high-integrity fuselage/airframe. Improvements to this 172 include: Garmin GPS/XPDR, NAV/COMM1 with PS Engineering COMM2 and three (3) Garmin 275s which collect all flight and engine data into simple digital focal points. Analog altimeter, airspeed, VSI and turn coordinator are retained for nostalgia and training. New, digital fuel senders with full cylinder-/EGT-sensor system, magnetometer and heated AoA probe. Healthy engine with 800+ hrs remaining under TBO; airframe/engine logs complete back to manufacture. New paint was applied in April 2025 following comprehensive strip and chemical etching. New seats, panel and interior were installed in summer 2025.
