Robinson's most capable helicopter to date — currently in development, with first flight targeted for late 2026 and FAA type certification expected in 2028. The R88 is a planned 10-seat, single-engine turbine powered by the Safran Arriel 2W, built for corporate transport, EMS, utility, and public safety operations. Its highly configurable flat-floor cabin is designed to accommodate up to 10 occupants or an 1,800 lb payload with full fuel — with forward, club, and air medical seating configurations planned. Garmin G500H TXi displays with GTN navigators and an open-tail rotor design define the aircraft. Starting at $3,300,000 (specifications and pricing preliminary and subject to change), the R88 is expected to deliver Robinson reliability and economics in a 10-seat turbine with no equal at this price point.
