Detailed Description N36418 - 1942 Taylorcraft DC-65 Upgraded to O-200 (100 hp) with Starter. Total Rebuild in Oct 2000. Trainer during WW2. October 2025 Annual Inspection. Only 565 hours flown since rebuild. Shows like new. Records begin in 1943. Remarks: This aircraft was delivered new in 1942 to a flight school in Texas and later purchased by the US Government. From 1942-1944 it was involved in training glider pilots.
