Description
Detailed Description This 1970 Iskra Jet was brought into the USA from Poland in the early 2000s. This is a PROJECT airplane and is not currently flying. Around 2003 this Iskra was professionally reassembled and ground run, but never flown or signed off. The owner decided to have the complete interior painted glossy white and install all new/refurbished instruments and avionics. The install was mostly complete but the owner stopped the project for personal reasons. The aircraft has been in an enclosed hangar for the past 15 years and the owner has no interest in completing it so we are listing it for sale for him. This is a good candidate for restoration since it is the more current "3H" model. It is a project and will need to be completely gone over again before it can be flown and certified. For the price of a Cessna 152, you could have your own flying personal jet! The new (in 2003) avionics include two Chelton EFIS displays (preserved in a box) and Garmin audio panel and transponder. Everything should be there to complete this project but that is subject to your inspection.
