Description
Detailed Description Cleanest and freshest M20F on the planet-and maybe the best looking. Low time, no damage history, and complete log books. Flew this fully operational Mooney in for strip and paint 2 years ago and got carried away. Spent over $80,000 performing the following: Removed flight controls, inspection covers, landing gear, cowlings, and fuel tank covers. Inspected and resealed fuel tanks with PPG PR-1005-L Sent out fuel tank senders to Airparts of Lockhaven, overhauled, and reinstalled. Chemically stripped paint and primers. Acid etched aluminum skins. Applied Alodine. Sprayed on etch primer, 2k primer, and Axalta Imron single stage paint. Cleaned out all wing interior chambers and applied corrosion X Overhauled landing gear and installed new shock discs. Installed new brake lines and pads Installed new engine mechanic fuel pump and overhauled Woodward prop governor Installed new Hartzell Scimitar 2 blade propeller with spinner. Overhauled propeller governor. Overhauled fuel system including new fuel servo Tachometer calibration check by Century Instuments Installed new interior heat and defrost scat hoses and heater control cable Removed old autopilot components, avionics, and associated wiring/cables. Stripped out cabin interior and cleaned all surfaces and inaccessible areas. Installed new wool carpeting, boltaron side panels, faux leather surfaces, and new foam. Refurbished plastic panels with epoxy resin, fiberglass cloth, and plastic paint. Replaced cabin speaker, stall warning and gear warning horns. Replaced cabin heat and defrost scat hoses Replaced over 400 screws and bolts, including several heim joints. New Skybolt cowling fasteners. Repacked wheel bearings Complied with SB 208B Inspected tubes, cleaned tubes, installed foam insulation. Insulated cabin throughout for noise reduction and temperature stability. The perfect new owner for this airplane is somebody that has owned one or more Mooneys and therefore would truly appreciate the maintenance condition of this F model- no leaky fuel tanks, clean fuel tanks, corrosion free airframe, accurate fuel gages, refreshed landing gear actuator, no rusty fasteners, fresh smelling comfortable interior, and no electrical issues.
