The compound is permanently mastic after prolonged exposure to aviation gas and jet fuel, with a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 240°F (116°C). The compound can also withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 275°F (135°C), offering flexibility and a reliable bond in any conditions. PPG® Mastinox CA 1000 is a single-component, epoxy-capped, PERMAPOL® polysulfide compound with a thixotropic nature for easy application. The sag-free formula can be applied by brush or spatula with impressive results.
