The leak-preventing sealant is designed for integral fuel tank sealing and has a wide service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). The gray sealant is designed for brush sealing of fasteners, ensuring even the smallest leaks won't stand a chance. Once applied, the sealant cures under room temperatures, maintaining its elastomeric properties after curing to better resist the vibrational forces of flight.PPG Aerospace® PR-1422 A-2 Fuel Tank Sealant is made to be used in your aircraft's fuel tank, so it makes sense that it's resistant to aviation fuels.
