The electrically conductive sealant is used in lighting mitigation systems to seal out moisture without interfering with the main function of the system. The sealant is black when cured and has a service temperature range of -67°F (-55°C) to 250°F (121°C), with intermittent excursions up to 360°F (182°C). Once cured, the material exhibits excellent long-term EMI-RMI protection. It also protects against corrosion, forming a physical barrier that blocks out moisture, jet fuel, aviation gas and other aviation chemicals.
