The gray sealant goes on smoothly and is easy to see where it has been applied, allowing for more complete coverage and better protection overall. PPG Aerospace® PR-1775 B-1/2 Corrosion Inhibitive Sealant is a non-chromate formula and boasts a wide service temperature range of -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C), with short-term recurring exposure (approximately 6 hours) to 360°F (182°C). The sealant works best on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals, protecting against corrosion even in the presence of jet fuel and aviation gas.
