The corrosion-inhibiting primer goes on smoothly and delivers outstanding protection against the most common causes of aircraft corrosion. The primer has a vibrant green color, so it's easy to see where it has been applied and the chromate-are formula is low VOC, so it's safe to use in the hangar. AkzoNobel Alumigrip® 4101 Epoxy Primer is designed to be mixed with the included curing solution. The two-component urethane-compatible corrosion-inhibiting primer works on a variety of substrates and is ideal for commercial applications. Each kit contains enough material to make two gallons of primer, preparing the surface for applying an AkzoNobel topcoat.
