Reliable Remote Mounted Power for Components The smartPower 250-201 is a remote mounted Dual power / charging unit designed to provide reliable power for most consumer products with USB charge capabilities such as smartphones and tablets. The smartPower 250-201 provides 2.7 amps at 5 VDC ± 0.25 (10 watt) for the USB connection. The smartPower 250-201 is designed to be installed behind the panel to provide discreet direct power to USB powered components. The smartPower 250-201 features a feedback loop to keep the 2.7 amp current stable at all times. The smartPower 250-201 is recommended for installation with the smartPanel Mount for iPhone 6, iPhone 6+ flush mounts. Approved for FAA Certified Part 23 Aircraft and Part 27 / 29 Rotorcraft All smartPower 250/250 USB Power Supplies from Guardian Avionics are approved for installation in certified aircraft and rotorcraft under 14 CFR Part 23, 27 and 29 as “Non-Required Safety Enhancing Equipment” (NORSEE) as outlined in FAA memorandum number PS-AIR-21.8-1602.
