The two-part silicone elastomer is sold in a convenient kit that keeps the components separated until just prior to use. When ready to apply, simply mix the parts together as indicated in the instructions and spread the mixture over the surface you are working on. Momentive RTV60 Silicone Rubber Compound uses a base compound and DBT (dibutyl tin dilaurate) as the standard curing agent. DBT is suitable for most applications, however other catalysts are available to facilitate deep section cure, faster cure and automated mixing.
