Approved for certified and experimental aircraft, the Metis extends Aithre's oxygen systems and health technology to monitoring in-flight atmospheric conditions.  Using a single under-the-wing elegant probe, the Metis provides real-time temperature, humidity, and dewpoint readings, enabling you to monitor for freezing levels and cloud levels relative to your aircraft. This Metis sensor probe is designed to be used with the HealthView III and will not function independently.  See the Metis device listing for a standalone version that operates independently of the HealthView III. The Metis sensor probe hooks directly up to the HealthView III for power, ground, and data communications.  The HealthView III includes the Metis technology and uses the sensor probe to capture outside air temperature, humidity, and dewpoint readings.  These parameters are then output from the HealthView III via analog outputs, the ATD avionics, and/or the Aithre Connect iOS app. With the HealthView III, the analog output is for outside air temperature OAT only, which connects to the GEA24 or SV-EMS for a graphical EFIS indication.  The analog output is a simple voltage that is linear to the temperature.
