The powerful coating is composed of various lubricating pigments suspended in a modified high-temperature resin binder with Toluene as the carrier. The dull black dry film lubricant won't blister, crack or peel when used as directed, making it the ideal mold release agent for die casting or a lubrication aid for extruding metals. It's particularly effective when die-casting aluminum and zinc products. EVERLUBE® FORMKOTE® T-50 Mold release is sold in a quart-size can and may be brushed, rolled or sprayed on with excellent results. The dry film lubricant won't interact with the die or any metals used, providing lubrication without staining or altering the finished product. The mold lubricant is black so it's easy to see where it has been applied, allowing for quick visual inspections before die casting, molding or extruding. The mold release cleans off completely and is non-reactive.
