To transmit this signal, the ELT requires power, which it gets from an internal battery. When the battery ages, it must be replaced to ensure maximum power when needed. The Kannad S1840510-01 Battery Pack from SkyGeek is a replacement six-year lithium battery for the model 406AF emergency locator transmitter or Integra Series ELTs. The Kannad S1840510-01 Battery Pack is compact and ready to install using one simple connection. Order a replacement battery pack after several years or when your ELT battery shows signs of losing its charge. The BAT200 OEM six-year replacement kit includes a battery pack, replacement O-ring, desiccant pack and replacement self-locking nuts. The replacement battery is a two-cell battery and will only work with select emergency locator transmitters. Battery replacements are sold individually and emergency locator transmitters are sold separately. A manufacturer’s certification may accompany your battery purchase for an additional charge.
