Description

Detailed Description SLSA 2016 RV-12 legacy model with dual Garmin G3X avionics. Approx. 602 hours TT. Rotax 912 ULS. Clean title, no accident history, always hangared. This aircraft has been extensively maintained and refurbished by the current owner, an FAA-certified LSRM-A with Rotax iRMT Service, Maintenance, and Heavy Maintenance training. This is not a neglected airplane - it is a nearly completed, high-quality RV-12 priced to reflect a small number of remaining items. Highlights: - Dual Garmin G3X EFIS - Rotax 912 ULS - Brand new gearbox - Significant corrective and preventative maintenance completed Aircraft is not currently airworthy. Priced accordingly. Remaining items: 1. Stabilator control cable clearance at internal fuselage penetration. Cable tension verified to be in spec. Van's Aircraft was consulted; preliminary guidance indicates minor enlargement of the existing hole is the likely solution. Proper construction per plans can be documented. 2. Condition inspection. 3. Cosmetic paint touch-ups. Bottom tailcone skin and avionics bay cover (forward upper fuselage skin) were replaced during maintenance and are currently not painted. 4. Minor rudder skin dent (repairable, or rudder skin can be straightforwardly replaced by someone with appropriate experience and credentials). 5. Fuel pressure sender hose requires air to be flushed from the line (approx. 10-minute task). No known unresolved engine, gearbox, fuel, ignition, or electrical system issues. Comparable turnkey dual-G3X RV-12s routinely sell quite a lot higher than this listing. This aircraft is offered below that range to reflect remaining work. Serious, informed inquiries only. Photos shown are from the previous sale. NOTE: If you have contacted me previously about this sale when I had it listed at $110,000, the airplane is now hangared in a location where the engine can be started and work can be completed if you wish to complete the remaining airworthiness items and fly it off.
