Description
This 1966 Piper Cherokee 180 is a well maintained, actively flown aircraft with No Damage History and complete logbooks since new. The Lycoming O-360-A3A was overhauled by Watson Aero in June 2023 and has just 900.1 hours since overhaul, with strong compressions of 77, 70, 75, and 76 over 80 as of September 19, 2026. The panel is set up for real IFR flying. A Garmin GNC 355 WAAS GPS/COM and a NARCO MK12D NAV/COM 2 with glideslope drive dual CDIs, giving you both GPS and ILS approach capability. A Garmin G5, Garmin audio panel, and a Stratus transponder with ADS-B In and Out round out the package. The airframe has been cared for properly. The wing spar AD inspection was completed in May 2021, including eddy current inspection of the spars, outboards, and bolt holes, with no defects found. The aircraft received a full Corrosion X treatment inside and out in September 2026. It is maintained on a 100 hour inspection schedule with 50 hour oil changes and is kept tied down and covered. The aircraft sells with a fresh annual and fresh pitot static, altimeter, transponder, and ELT inspections, all completed by the end of November 2026. Useful load is 952.64 lbs. Original 1966 paint is in fair condition and recently washed and waxed, and the interior is in very good shape. A proven, honest Cherokee 180 that is ready for IFR training, time building, or capable cross country flying. Located at Winter Haven Regional Airport (KGIF) in Central Florida. Serious inquiries welcome.
