Ownership Status: The present owner is a US company since 10/2024 and the 4th owner in total. The aircraft was sold NEW from the factory to its first owner in 05/1989 in the USA. In 12/1990 the aircraft was sold to Denmark with a total time of 347h and became Danish registered. The Danish owner then sold this Mirage to a German company in 08/1994 and became “D” registered. Such German company then sold this Mirage onwards to its 3rd owner, a German company which was also an FAA repair station specialized on PA46 maintenance, back in 07/2015. Such FAA repair station owned this Mirage until 10/2024 before it was sold to its present owner, a US company and flown again to the USA. When the FAA repair station purchased the aircraft, the aircraft became “N” registered and the aircraft had undergone a major refurbishment including new paint, interior and avionics upgrade, all completed in 03/2016. The original airframe logbook from 05/1989 – 12/1990 is missing, however, a conformity inspection and additional 1000h according to manufacture requirements following consultation with the FAA had been performed as part of the “N” registration process and has been signed off on behalf of an FAA DAR. The aircraft had a NLG collapse in 12/1995 with a total time of 885h. An extensive repair had been conducted back then resulting in a firewall forward replacement. RH wing tip replaced due to hangar rash in 07/1998. Please inquire for any further details concerning these events. The aircraft is owner flown and always hangared. This Mirage has got a great special inspection Chapter 5-30 maintenance status such as document preparation in general. Information about Piper Malibu Mirage: The Piper Malibu is definitely the right investment to upgrade from the lower single engine piston segment into the world of fast and complex single engine piston travelling. With its avionic equipment and optional equipment, this Piper Malibu Mirage is definitely the right investment to upgrade from the lower single engine piston class into the higher single engine piston class, offering a spacy pressurized cabin, enabling private and business trips across all over Europe. The pressurized cabin permits to travel at high altitudes achieving satisfying cruising speeds and being able to achieve great take-off and landing performance with an existing FIKI certification.
