AVIONICS The new instrument panel designed by Frank Wright: all new radios, gauges, switches, etc. - all bought from Aircraft Spruce and installed by Richard Authement, "Auto's Aviation", at the Saline County Regional Airport, Bryant, AR. Auto was the senior active duty avionics mechanic (working on Air Force C130's) at Little Rock Air Force Base, AR (and when he had some time off he tried to work in a few civilian avionic jobs). 1) Radio - Garmin GNC 255A/255B 2) Transponder - Garmin GTX 335/545 3) GPS - Garmin Aera 660 4) ELT - Artex 3345 5) Antennas - A) VHF - como antenna on top of fuselage B) ELT - wire whip antenna on top of fuselage C) GPS - antenna on top of cargo bay behind seats D) Transponder - antenna on bottom of fuselage E) VOR/NAV - antennas on tail 6) Numerous other installations - shown in the picture of the instrument panel OTHER PERTINENT ITEMS INCLUDED: "Slickstart" Magneto booster (which replaced impulse coupling on left mag). Oil filter relocated for much better access than Kitfox had originally designed. "Battery Minder" Model 2012-12 volt maint. charger with full time desulfator. 2 ea new David Clark Model H10-60c Head Sets. 2 ea new main tires: Airtrac: 8.50-6-20" (8.00-6-18 came with the original kit). Fire extinguisher (halotron) behind seats in cab. Ground tow bar for easy rear wheel maneuvering. Highway airplane trailer - comes with the Kitfox dual axle trailer, specially custom made for this Kitfox by White River Trailer in Melbourne, AR with spare tire and tool box. The trailer with the Kitfox on board will fit in a large shop or car garage (10' wide x 10' tall x 27' long) if a hangar is not available or too expensive. All the manuals for the Kitfox assembly, Lycoming engine, and all the instrument panel equipment will be included with the Kitfox incase they are needed for future reference by the new owner. Automobile type gasoline filters on each wing tank should filter any debris or fiberglass coming from the wing tanks - the gas filters are fairly inexpensive and should be changed periodically. The gasoline hoses and filters for both wings have just been replaced in April 2026. One manual Lycoming fuel pump and one electric automotive fuel pump in tandem guarantees fuel to the engine from the routine gravity fed fuel header tank. The yellow 4' long "fiberglass cargo pod" can be attached underneath the fuselage for hauling extra cargo (but, it looks like a bomb). FINAL REMARKS: The buyer will need to pick up the airplane on the Kitfox's trailer in Quitman, AR after the sales check is deposited in a local Heber Springs, AR bank.
