Located in the USA, this example, like many survivors of the series, started life as a Yak-11 (Czech-built LET C-11) and has enjoyed a very positive journey towards completion to as-new condition complete with an overhauled P&W R-2000 engine, American wheels and disc brakes, overhauled three-bladed propeller, spinner. The airframe has been thoroughly overhauled from the bare-metal tube frame upwards. All sheet metal work has been completed to a very high standard including the skinning of the aft fuselage (usually fabric covered on the stock Yak-11). There is pretty much everything needed to put this fighter together with all the major structural work completed right down to the fabric covering of the flight controls.
