Accident & incident history

2012-11-13 Accident · Jackson, MS Damage: Substantial Fatal injury NTSB · ERA13FA055
Reported aircraft: Piper PA-32-300 — a different aircraft that carried the N717RL registration before this airframe.
Probable cause: The pilot's inadequate preflight inspection, which resulted in his failure to note the water in the fuel tank due to condensation, which subsequently shut down the engine in flight. Contributing to the accident was the pilot's self-induced pressure to expedite the departure.
