Description
2024 Epic E1000 GX | 50% Ownership Share | N272GX Offered for sale is a 50% ownership interest in a 2024 Epic E1000 GX, serial K072, with one owner since new and 1,423.9 hours total time on the airframe, engine and propeller. A working airplane, not a hangar queen: N272GX is owned and operated by Freedom Air, the largest on-demand Epic charter operator, and is maintained to FAR Part 135 standards. Charter revenue starts on day one and partially offsets the co-owner’s own operating costs, with no conformity process and no ramp-up period. How the partnership works: The aircraft remains on Freedom Air’s charter certificate and continues to fly charter when the co-owner is not using it. In return, the co-owner receives preferred scheduling on N272GX and, when availability does not line up, you’ll have access to the rest of Freedom Air’s Epic fleet. The aircraft can be based at the co-owner’s home airport, subject to location approval. A turnkey business-use case: For a buyer who wants an aircraft that works as a business asset, N272GX is already conformed and flying on a Part 135 certificate. That established commercial use may allow a qualifying buyer to take advantage of accelerated depreciation, including 100% bonus depreciation where eligible, without the time and cost of placing an aircraft into charter service themselves. Every buyer’s tax position is different, so eligibility should be confirmed with an aviation tax advisor before purchase. Fly it your way: Freedom Air’s professional pilots are available on every trip, which makes this share a fit for three kinds of owners: - The non-pilot owner who wants a turnkey, professionally crewed aircraft - The owner-pilot who wants a professional safety pilot in the right seat - The owner-pilot who prefers to fly on their own Ownership costs that a sole owner cannot match: - Hot section paid by the seller: The hot section inspection is due in approximately 300 hours, and the current owner will cover 100% of that cost. - Extended engine life: Once the hot section is complete, the engine will be enrolled in the MORE program, potentially extending time between overhauls to 8,000 hours. - Fleet insurance: The aircraft is covered under Freedom Air’s fleet policy at a rate well below what an individual owner can obtain in the current market. - Phase inspection program: N272GX is maintained on a progressive inspection program of 100-hour mini inspections and Phases A through D. This spreads maintenance cost across the year and reduces downtime compared with a single annual inspection. The opportunity. This is half the capital outlay of a late-model E1000 GX, with charter revenue, professional crew, fleet backup and a seller-funded hot section already in place.
