Description
Detailed Description The world's only original factory built two seat Messerschmitt ME-109. One of two license built two seat ME-109's built by Hispano Aviation under license from Messerschmitt and the only one surviving. This is a full dual control Messerschmitt ME-109 and is perfect for giving rides or flight training. Powered by a Rolls Royce Merlin. 1,700 hp and only 4,500 lbs makes this a true rocket ship. A unique original factory two seat Messerschmitt ME-109. Complete rebuilt in 2018. 62 hrs on Airframe, Engine, and Prop. The later and best-known version of the Spanish-built "109", the HA-1112-M1L Buchon was equipped with the Rolls Royce Merlin 500-45 engine and four-blade Dowty Rotol Propeller. In total, 172 were built. In addition to the single-seat HA-1112-M1L, Hispano built one-only HA-1112-M4L two-seat, full dual-control Buchon and converted a single-seat Fighter to a full dual-control Buchon - the later being destroyed, thus making this HA-1112-M4L (Registered as G-AWHC) the sole surviving Hispano Factory-built, two-seat, dual-control aircraft.
