Probable cause: THE PILOT'S INADEQUATE PREFLIGHT RESULTED IN A DELAYED ABORTED TAKE-OFF. AFTER AN INADVERTENT RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY INTO ROUGH TERRAIN.
