Accident & incident history

2022-08-13 Accident · Searsmont, ME Damage: Substantial Minor injury NTSB · ERA22LA372
Reported aircraft: Thomas Wayne L Thomas' Flyer
Probable cause: A total loss of engine power during the initial climb for reasons that could not be determined.
2001-05-22 Accident · Uniontown, OH Damage: Substantial Serious injury NTSB · IAD01LA059
Reported aircraft: Piper PA-31-310 — a different aircraft that carried the N35WT registration before this airframe.
Probable cause: Fuel exhaustion due to the pilot's failure to perform fuel calculations. A factor was the inboard fuel tank probes not being within the manufacturer's resistance limits, which resulted in inaccurate fuel gauges.
