Preliminary report: On August 27, 2026, about 1625 eastern daylight time, a Hawker Beechcraft Corporation 400A airplane, N199TT, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Newark, New Jersey. The airline transport pilot and commercial pilot were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 positioning flight. The airplane departed from Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK), Nantucket, Massachusetts, destined for Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Newark, New Jersey. At 1615 the airplane was vectored to the ILS runway 22L approach for landing at EWR. According to the pilots, the automated terminal information service (ATIS) was reporting 1…
