Accident & incident history

2000-04-15 Accident · Lakeland, FL Damage: Substantial Minor injury NTSB · MIA00LA134
Reported aircraft: Hiller UH-12C — a different aircraft that carried the N301CH registration before this airframe.
Probable cause: The disconnection of the tail rotor drive shaft and subsequent lack of tail rotor control. Contributing factors were the worn drive shaft splines and the pilots' failure to apply collective on the touchdown resulting in a hard landing and subsequent roll over.
1996-07-04 Accident · Marathon, FL Damage: Substantial Minor injury NTSB · MIA96LA176
Reported aircraft: Hiller OH-23C — a different aircraft that carried the N301CH registration before this airframe.
