Description
Detailed Description Available for sale is a Gem of a Boeing Stearman. It was originally restored by Pete Jones at Air Repair as Stearman #128. After a forced landing in May 2021 the aircraft was restored by Rays Aviation in Santa Paula, CA. Engine was sent to Air Repair for tear down inspection. She was repainted at time of the restoration and now has the number 962 on the side. This airplane is pretty well stock except having an electric starter and leading edge stall strips on the lower wing. It sports the Continental 670 220HP engine with Hamilton Standard ground adjustable propeller. We are finishing the annual inspection now and times are due to change once she's flying again.
