Accident & incident history

2023-12-17 Accident · Burnet, TX Damage: Destroyed Serious injury NTSB · CEN24LA065
Reported aircraft: Beechcraft B36TC
Probable cause: The loss of engine power due an overly rich mixture from an improper adjustment of the fuel pump, which resulted in a forced landing and impact with a car and terrain.
2001-06-14 Accident · Stockton, CA Damage: Destroyed NTSB · LAX01FA207
Reported aircraft: Piper PA-46-350P — a different aircraft that carried the N70SL registration before this airframe.
Probable cause: a loss of engine power for undetermined reasons. Also causal was the inadequate supervision of the flight by the CFI for allowing a simulated emergency maneuver to continue below an altitude which would not allow for recovery contingencies.
