Accident & incident history

2004-09-02 Accident · Pearland, TX Damage: Destroyed Fatal injury NTSB · FTW04LA226
Reported aircraft: Cassutt IIIM — a different aircraft that carried the N3TW registration before this airframe.
Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain airspeed sufficient for flight resulting in an inadvertent stall/spin while turning from the base leg of the traffic pattern to final. A contributing factor was the pilot's lack of experience for the make/model airplane.
